Snøhetta - Tonje Værdal Frydenlund
Buildings with a long lifespan, proper use and closed circuits are a central goal in the circular economy, and architects bear a great responsibility for us succeeding in more reuse of materials, design for dismantling and optimized use of resources. A lot of exciting things have happened in recent years, and we have seen several great model projects. But how do we go from pilot projects to a new standard? Building by building, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city? Tonje Frydenlund from Snøhetta presents how they work to ensure more circularity in the entire value chain, and for each project to be better than the last, with concrete examples from Norway and Europe.
